i am @ Madagusgar, i have blackberry with zain and there is no profile for it, is there another way to this?

however, i added custom profile, it’ s doesn’t work and show a tex like this…

The PPP Link control protoca; was terminated

Help me….The error I get says:
BlackBerry Desktop manager failed to start an IP modem session using the connected device:
There was a hardward failure in the modem (orother conncectind device).
Please check your profile settings and make sure your radio is turned on. This service might also be turned off by your wirless service provider or your administrator.
I am able to make/recieve calls, browse the internet on my phone, have an unlimited data plan and not BES user.
FYI..i already do this step;
1) Uninstall Desktop Manager from your computer
2) Restart the Computer
3) Download latest Desktop Manager and Install
4) Set up the IP Modem as per the steps mentioned in above post.
But still got the same error again.
What should i do now?

I have 6.0 and there is no IP button, and the only 2 options under Tools are Add Bluetooth Device and Desktop Options.

I’m running DM 6.0.0.43. Under the Tools menu, the first option is Start Mobile Internet…
This is the option to use your BB as a modem

Is the IP Modem option no longer available in DM version 6.0 and above? I can’t find anything referring to IP Modem anywhere..

I have been trying to use my bb8530 to my desktop with no success. Thru the DM Sprint isn’t a option. I find it difficult to believe I was given a usb cord just for DM. Please direct me in options of how to get this working right. Thanks
