Facebook App for BlackBerry smartphone updated to Version 1.6.0.21
Not long time ago Facebook application got major upgrade to V1.6, now this update – Version 1.6.0.21 said to fix Calendar and Friend’s list refreshing issue.

- KB18441, informs that the unending “friends refresh” issue has been fixed in 1.6.0.21.
- KB18442, provides a resolution and workaround for restoring BlackBerry calendar events during an OS upgrade when the Facebook calendar can become set as your default calendar. Basically, this version 1.6.0.21 of Facebook avoids that issue, according to the article.
- KB18674, informs that Facebook for BlackBerry will display a maximum of 1200 friends.
- KB16369, details the Facebook for BlackBerry minimum requirements.

Is it just me? Or are the status updates no longer working? I mean when I hit ‘refresh’ it loads status updates that say ‘19 hours ago.’ When I click ‘view highlights’ – the same thing… kind of outdated my many many hours.
All the application permissions are allowed, I’ve cleared the cache, logged out, logged back in, and even did a device reset.
I did not have this issue with previous versions.
Thoughts?
It should defeniately provide you updates in reasonable time.
Kindly check following things.
-On your BlackBerry – Go to Options- Advanced Options – Default Services and try changing the Calender(CICAL) and CMIME
- Go to Facebook.com settings on your PC and enable blackberry notifications (It’s in Settings – Notifications- and look at the bottom of the page)
- After that – on your BlackBerry – Go to Options-Advanced Options-Host Routing Table-Press “MENU” button-click on Register Now and test
- If above fails – then you need to uninstall Facebook on your BlackBerry (Options – Advanced Options – Appllications) and install again
- I am sure you have the latest OS on your BlackBerry

What do I change it to? I have my email addresses to choose from, and Facebook.
It was already defaulted to Facebook.

If you already have Facebook as default then leave it as is. Also make sure your default browser is set to “Internet Browser”. Try reinstalling the Facebook again and see what happens. Other then above there aren’t any other options/settings on the device for Facebook. Let me know how it goes.
I can not “like” a status with this upgrade, or a photo actually. And can not view when someone likes a pic or status of mine. Also doesn’t show Mr updates other than just status. What is the deal?
