Desktop Manager: v5.0.1.16 Leaked – New Feature – IP Modem included
The leaked Desktop Manager v5.0.18 (above image) and v5.0.16 (download links mentioned below) includes new feature called IP Modem which allows you to easily setup your BlackBerry as a tethered modem on your laptop. The BlackBerry Desktop Manager version 5.0.1.18 download links are not currently available.
The Email settings icon displayed in above image is not actually a new feature. The icons appears because the Desktop Manger is installed with “Redirector” settings on it which in fact is very very old feature. You get this icon when you select “integrate with Work Email” option while installing Desktop Manger on a PC. If you are getting emails through BIS then it is not recommended to use this redirector settings enabled Desktop Manger because it will mess up your BIS email service books and will cause problems in sending and receiving emails.
