BlackBerry PlayBook Overview

Announced at the 2010 BlackBerry Developer Conference, the BlackBerry PlayBook is the first tablet from Research In Motion. With the PlayBook RIM is really introducing two products -a new operating system and new tablet hardware.

PlayBook features solid hardware, an operating system that utilizes a gesture-based user interface to deliver true multitasking capabilities and a web browser that supports Adobe Flash.

PlayBook allows bridge functionality over Bluetooth to get Emails, Contacts, Calender data from your BlackBerry device.

    I bought the 16G PlayBook for $199 and I like it. It’s worth the money where I get to see my BES emails on 7″ screen along with BBM. Love it!!
