BlackBerry Beta Zone Open to the General Public

RIM today opened up the BlackBerry Beta zone to general public and inviting new members to join this program. This is the first time BlackBerry Beta Zone has been open to the general public. Currently RIM has BlackBerry Messenger 5.0 beta on board which starts at April 1st and will run for eight weeks.

As a member you will have an opportunity to

  • Evaluate and comment on software before it reaches market
  • Be a BlackBerry trendsetter with inside information
  • Have a voice to provide your feedback directly to RIM
  • Further influence the evolution of BlackBerry solutions you use today

The BlackBerry Beta zone offers features like discussion boards, feedback forms and online surveys, and last but not the least – unprecedented access to product not yet in-market. 

It is currently open to the residents  living in Canada, United States and UK. to join. RIM is planning to extend this program more countries in the coming months.

    It would be so cool if blackberry beta zone would be available to South Africa, I would love the opportunity to test new software and provide feedback as I consider myself a blackberrycist. Blackberry is the fastest selling smartphone in South Africa. I understand it is still in beta phase, but it would be so appreciated.
