Amazon Releases Kindle App for BlackBerry for US Only

Kindle App for BlackBerry Kindle App for BlackBerry-1

Amazon has released their Kindle app for BlackBerry. The app looks really good and provides a nice reading experience. The two best features I liked about this app; large collection of books to search from including New York Times Best Sellers and it’s synchronization with other Kindle devices. The Kindle app for BlackBerry is only available in the US only. The future improvements stated for this app includes scrolling text line by line, creating notes and search function.

I use the Kindle for BlackBerry on my Storm 2 and absolutely love it. The app is very intuitive and buying books is almost too easy. I can purchase, download, and start reading in a few minutes. I had no issues installing the app and the sync functions work as stated. My Storm 2 was automatically “registered” with my Amazon account when the app was installed. The text reads easily on the Storm’s large display but users with smaller screens may have a different opinion. Great app!
